I decided that one of my goals before I leave Stonehill is to find (and take a picture of) the class gift from every class year, dating all the way back to the class of 1952 (Stonehill was founded in 1948). I'll ask around, work my way to the top, and find out as many secrets and as much information as I can to help complete my goal. (Disclaimer: Don't expect me to finish this anytime soon.)

Class of 2010/Class of 2009: Earlier this year, they put up a clock in front of the Science Center. The Class of 2009 is on one side, and the Class of 2010 on the other. I didn't know that half a clock was an acceptable donation for a class gift, but hey. Whatever works.
Class of 2008: They put a stone/insignia/whatever in the middle of our quad walkway.
Class of 2007: Mirrors are also on the rise at Stonehill, since a few recent classes have donated them in various spots in the Dining Commons. Here's one in the loud cafe.

Class of 2005:
Class of 2004: They decided to rock a clock right near our dining commons.
Class of 2003: Around the Commonwealth Courts, members of the Class of 2003 have bricks, whether it be just their name, a dedication, or the like. Here's a small example of the probably 100 bricks in the courts.
Class of 2002: The Class of 2002 erected one of my favorite structures at Stonehill -- the American flag on Donahue Hill, in memorial of four members of the Stonehill community who lost their life on 9/11.
Class of 2001: Their class gift was a mirror in The Hill. With a logo on it. I mean it's still pretty cool though, because you can flip off the camera in it.
Class of 2000: Nothing like a fish tank to have as your class gift! Even if it is facing a 25-square-foot area.
Class of 1999: This memorial near the Dining Commons is a place that everyone walks by at least a couple of times a day, but it took me a while to stop and notice it for more than a second.
Class of 1998: Our library was established in 1998, and the ever-opportune Class of 1998 decided to put this square of stone as part of a much larger square of stone. And by square, I mean library. And by stone, I mean brick.
Class of 1996: They win for most-referred to class gift. Everyone uses the giant clock as a meeting or compass point on campus. It's just the greatest.
Class of 1994: What better way to be remembered than by putting a giant stone at the front of campus?
Class of 1993:
Class of 1992:
Class of 1991: They contributed this to Brother Mike's. I mean it's just a sign, but hey, it's something.
Class of 1990:
Class of 1989:
Class of 1988: Either their class gift was the sign, or the entire Pilgrim Heights. I'm guessing the former. Turns out another gift of the Class of '88 is this sign on the side of one of our Senior Courts houses. I'm starting to think they just donated every building ever on campus.

Class of 1968: The benches outside the Dining Commons have stared me in the face, asking to have their picture taken, but there are always so many people in the area that I don't want to look too foolish. Although that hasn't stopped me a lot before...
Class of 1967: I found this at the end of my freshman year, but I never really knew what it was. I still don't, but at least I have a picture of it now.
Class of 1966: Their class gift was Boland 311, apparently. I've been meaning to go after this one since freshman year, but have always felt weird just walking up to that room. I got over it.

Class of 1960: The Class of 1960 donated the furniture in the New Hall Chapel as part of their 50th anniversary gift. Score another one for "Benefits of Living in New Hall!"
Class of 1959: I sat on these benches one day, and when I turned around, I saw a class gift! Benches and clocks seem to be the most common gifts at Stonehill.
Class of 1958: Despite the recent "improvements" to the sign for the classroom, the class of 1958 donated this lab room in honor of their 50th reunion.
Class of 1957:
Class of 1956: The gateway to Stonehill (literally) was donated by the class of 1956, which means this thing has been around for a while.

Class of 1953: The second-oldest class gift is a rock with a quote on it from A.E. Housman: "That is the land of lost content, / I see it shining plain, / The happy highways where I went / And cannot come again."
